Terms of Service

Effective June 11, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of Amara's services, including tryamara.ai and the Amara application (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and a signed order form or agreement between Amara and your organization controls where it conflicts with these terms.

The Service

Amara audits AI-handled customer conversations against a customer's private policies, permissions, and compliance rules, and produces findings, reports, and audit trails. The Service operates as a post-resolution review layer; it does not send, block, or modify your customer-facing messages. Findings are decision support — they are not legal advice, and your organization remains responsible for its own communications and compliance obligations.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at security@tryamara.ai of any suspected unauthorized access.

Customer content

  • You retain all rights to the policies, conversation data, and other content you provide. You grant Amara a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
  • You are responsible for having the necessary rights and notices to share the content you upload, and for redacting personal data we instruct you to withhold.
  • Reviewer decisions and corrections you make build an evaluation corpus that belongs to your organization and is used only for your organization.
  • We do not train foundation models on your content and do not share it across customers.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to violate law, infringe rights of others, probe or disrupt our systems, attempt to access another organization's data, or resell the Service without written agreement.

Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only as needed to perform under these terms.

Fees

Paid plans are described in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except as stated there. Free audits are provided as-is to evaluate the Service.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." Amara does not warrant that audits will identify every risk or error in your AI communications. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amara disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and each party's aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid or payable by you to Amara in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice. On termination, we will delete or return customer content as described in our Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement.

Changes; governing law

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date; material changes will be notified to account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
